Brittany is an artist and writer living in Fort Worth, Texas. She works primarily in watercolor and creates comics. These watercolor comics depict living with trauma from the past, while grappling with mental illness and personal identity in the present. Through her art, Brittany is interested in empowering and encouraging others to use their pain–which is inevitable for all of us as denizens of the human condition–as a medium to courageously express complicated thoughts and emotions. By doing so, she believes we can heal ourselves, and we can help heal our communities.
