Dawn Olmo

Dawn holds a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and a master’s degree in Rhetoric and Technical Communication from Eastern Washington University. For the past 6 years, she has done extensive freelance editing and writing for self published and indie writers. Many of her clients return to her again and again with new work.

Not only has she had a plethora of experience editing self-published authors, she also has experience in judging writing contests, reading submissions for literary journals, and giving feedback to burgeoning writers. There is nothing she enjoys more than sitting in front of the computer and editing, knowing she is helping writers create stronger stories, characters, plotlines, and grammar.



Katie Clem

Katie is a soon-to-be NYFA grad with a Bachelor’s in Screenwriting. Editing both professionally and freelance since her early highschool years, she’s worked as a newspaper copy editor, prose reviewer, and has an extensive composition background, having written in various mediums, including: blog, novel, feature film, TV, video game, web series, and comics.






Amanda Torisky

Amanda has a BA in English Language and Literature from Slippery Rock University. She has over four years of editing experience for freelance/indie writers and college student papers, editing everything from articles to thesis papers to romance novels. She has now been a professional freelance editor for several months for a self-publishing company.

Sylvie Lafontaine

Sylvie is a writer and editor from Northern Ontario, Canada who is fluently bilingual in French and English. She graduated in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Psychology (in French). In 2016, she graduated with a master’s in Interdisciplinary Health. Since 2003, she has been an editor in many mediums: newspaper, novels, blogs, academic papers, doctoral theses, etc. For a span of three years, she worked closely with a successful self-published sci-fi author, Randolph Lalonde, as well. Her love of the written word fuels her passion, and there are few things that bring her more joy than helping stories find their way into the hands of readers.

In 2013 his play “Captured” was performed at the Chelsea Theatre to positive feedback from the audience. In 2014 he was the assistant producer in The Minister’s Secret a half an hour radio play. In 2015 his short story Sher’s Wood was published as a winning entry in the Metamorphose Magazine Issue One and Jack has been published in their second and third issues. He graduated from London South Bank University with a 2:1 in Creative Writing and regularly updates his writing website. He published his first novel, Empty Nights, in 2018.
